'The world's aquarium'
San Jose del Cabo, Mexico

The rich and famous flock to Cabo, and for good reason. Dubbed "the world's aquarium," by Jacques Cousteau, there's no shortage of surf, sunshine and sea life on the tip of the Baja peninsula. The jet set often recharge at the One & Only Palmilla, while pro-surfers chill at the Cabo Surf Hotel. Rent a board and hit the waves, or kick back with icy-cold Pacificos under thatched palm palpas and make a sport of spotting surfers amongst the swells. Whether you braved the waves or not, don't leave without soaking up an intoxicating damiana (a special liqueur drunk in the Cabo region) massage.
