"This year it's all about tilted disc shapes, like this piece I did for the Countess of Wessex for the Commonwealth Day Observance service in March. The look is really big rims, with shallow domes - a sort of 1930s feel. People are looking at bigger rims as they're bored of fascinators and headpieces, and of course the rules have changed at Ascot this year".
