What She Wears: Electric Picnic

There’s nothing we like more than checking out the outfits of our favourite tastemakers and it looks like the Casa Bacardi tent at Electric Picnic was where these girls were getting their style groove on.

There’s nothing we like more than checking out the outfits of our favourite tastemakers and it looks like the Casa Bacardi tent was where these girls were getting their style groove on.

We LOVE festivals here at WhatSheWears.ie and what an amazing weekend it was weather-wise for Electric Picnic goers with the sun shining for most of the weekend in Stradbally, giving festival goers a real chance to get their style on! Not to mention all the amazing photos that were gracing our Twitter and Instagram timelines all weekend long.

The good weather was the perfect excuse for shorts (thank you rain for not ruining our carefully planned outfit for once!) and shorts teamed with boots was a great festival look spotted on many an Electric Picnicker.

Model Karen Fitzpatrick (pictured above) wore her shorts with ankle boots, a t-shirt and oversized shirt. Wellies and denim cut-off shorts looked great in the sun too, especially if you've got Glenda Gilson's lean legs.

We like the way that IMAGE magazine editor Melanie Morris added a pop of pink to her all-black ensemble – wearing wellies from Crocs no less - and proving that Crocs are not just about gardening and around-the-house shoes.

We also saw plenty of army and camouflage jackets, and love this khaki style with leather sleeves on DJ and MTV presenter Laura Whitmore.

Remember bumbags? There was at least two sightings of leather bumbags, which we're not sure we're quite ready for their comeback yet, even if they are Chanel (as seen on Lorraine Keane, below).

But, according to Laura Whitmore’s Twitter, it’s the best festival she’s ever been at (and she's been to a lot!). So, let's hear it for Electric Picnic!
