Rah! Tribal tattoos. It's all about the inner warrior, apparently. Clearly if you're a Maori descendant in New Zealand, then it makes perfect sense to bear a Maori tattoo (frequently on the face). For everyone else though, you'd better have a pretty good excuse. Sure, some swirls here and there are fine, they'll look pretty passable too. But expect to be asked "so, mate, what does it mean?" and to answer convincingly. 8/10 for genuine tribal warriors, 2/10 for everyone else.
