Insider’s guide to Office Online

Microsoft Office Online is an invaluable tool for students, helping you to get your work done on any PC, wherever you may be.

Simply get online with Windows Live SkyDrive and upload your Microsoft Office files to share them with others on your course, in order to collaboratively work on and edit documents - even if you or your friends don't happen to have Office installed on the PC you are working on at the time.

Free and easy Web Apps
Microsoft Office Web Apps are free companions to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Providing you have an internet connection, this now means that you can work on your essays and projects pretty much anywhere, on any computer.

Additionally, if you do have Microsoft Office 2010 installed on your PC, then you can save your work files directly to SkyDrive to allow you and your course mates to access them from anywhere else with their Windows Live account. This makes sharing your work with others and working collaboratively on projects very easy.

Add Multimedia
You can also add and enhance photographs, images, SmartArt graphics, audio clips and videos into your OneNote, Word or PowerPoint documents easier than ever before with Office 2010. All of which means you can make the most of everything your PC has to offer to aide you with your studies.

The Home and Student version of Microsoft Office includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Find out more and try out Office Web Apps free at http://office.com
